A window for "Windows Installer Coordinator" pops-up during the install of Enzoic for Active Directory.
The progress bar in this window keeps looping with the below message and the installation does not proceed: Please wait while the application is preparing for the first use.
This issue is known to occur on Windows Servers if the RDS (Remote Desktop Services) Compatibility for the computer is not enabled.
See the below steps to enable Windows Installer Coordinator:
1. Open "Local Group Policy Editor" from Control Panel (or Start> Run> gpedit.msc).
2. Go to Computer Configuration-> Administrative Templates-> Windows Components-> Remote Desktop Services-> Remote Desktop Session Host- > Application Compatibility.
3. Right click on 'Turn off Windows Installer RDS Compatibility" and click Edit.
4. Then select "Enabled" radio button (Not Configured is selected by default) and click on OK.
