One of the questions we get often is "Why is there a discrepancy between the number of users I see in the Monitored User Report inside the console on the DC, and the usage count inside of the Web Console?" The reason for this discrepancy is because the two reports are reporting on different things.

The Monitored User Report is a snapshot of every user in your environment that is being monitored by Enzoic, at that time. This is a dynamic list that changes when users are moved in and out of monitored policies that have Continuous Password Monitoring enabled (and the report is refreshed).

However, the Web Console Usage count is designed for billing purposes and shows the peak user count for the month. Because of this, the count is not dynamic and only increases until the end of the month. At the end of the month, the user count will drop off, and the peak user counter will start again.

For example, if you have 1 day where 50 users were monitored, and then dropped down to only monitoring 5 users for the rest of the month, the web console will still show 50 users until the end of the month.
